Welcome to Lakeside Resort Campground! If you're looking for a scenic and relaxing place to pitch your tent, park your RV, or rent a cabin, you've come to the right place. The campground map shows you the lay of the land, so to speak. You'll see that we have plenty of sites available, whether you want to be close to the lake or nestled in the trees. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit so you can enjoy some s'mores under the stars. Speaking of the lake, it's one of the best features of our campground. We have a sandy beach for swimming, a boat launch for fishing or cruising, and plenty of kayaks and paddleboats to rent. If you're lucky, you might even spot a bald eagle soaring overhead! Now let's take a closer look at some of the amenities you'll find here at Lakeside Resort. Our shower and restroom facilities are modern and cleaned daily, so you can freshen up after a long day of hiking or biking. We also have a convenience store stocked with snacks, drinks, and camping essentials. When you're ready to relax in the evening, head over to our community fire pit where you can roast marshmallows and chat with fellow campers. Or if you prefer some quiet time, curl up with a good book in our cozy library. As promised, here are a few photos to give you a feel for Lakeside Resort. First up, we have our campground map. After a day of exploring, you'll want to refuel with some delicious food. Here's a recipe for one of our favorite campfire meals: foil packet dinners!

Foil Packet Dinners

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups chopped veggies (carrots, onions, potatoes, etc.)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Aluminum foil
  1. Preheat your campfire to medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, veggies, salt, and pepper. Divide the mixture into four equal portions.
  3. Lay out four large pieces of aluminum foil. Place one portion of the beef and veggie mixture in the center of each piece of foil.
  4. Fold the foil up and around the mixture, creating a sealed packet. Repeat for the remaining three packets.
  5. Place the packets directly on the campfire coals or grill grates. Cook for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Remove the packets from the fire and carefully open them up. Serve and enjoy!
